(HELENA, MT) February 27, 2012 – Montana Records Management, LLP will be joining the Attorney General’s Office and the Better Business Bureau during National Consumer Protection Week to hold three different shred days, where the general public can bring personal documents to be shredded at no cost. Individuals may bring up to two (2) copy size boxes worth of paper documents to be shredded for free, after this amount a nominal fee will be charged; no video, hard drives, or disks are permitted.

The National Consumer Protection Week Shred Days will take place over three days in three different cities throughout Montana. The dates, times and locations are as follows:

• Missoula, Montana – Monday, March 5^th, 2012:

1:30pm to 3:00pm – Wal-Mart parking lot located at 3555 Mullen Road

• Kalispell, Montana – Wednesday, March 7^th, 2012:

Noon to 1:30pm – Kmart parking lot located at 2024 US Highway 2

• Helena, Montana – Friday, March 9^th, 2012:

Noon to 1:30pm – YMCA parking lot located at 1200 N Last Chance Gulch

(HELENA, MT) August 09, 2011 – Montana Records Management, LLP teamed up with St. Peter’s Hospital ‘s new health center, The Florence Crittenton Home (FCH), and KXLH news station in Helena, Montana to hold the First Annual Shred Day in support of the Florence Crittenton Home. It was highly successful, raising funds to help with the home’s operating costs.

The Florence Crittenton Home provides support to young mothers and babies offering support and services such as 24 hour intensive care, prenatal and childbirth education, parenting classes, job skills training and many other programs.

The Shred Day took place on June 20th, people were encouraged to bring out their documents that they wanted to be securely shredded and provide a donation. Each individual received FACTA and HIPAA brochures providing them with more information on the benefits of shredding. In addition, they were  given a walking tour of St. Peter’s Hospital new health center.

Sherri Ohs-Mosley, owner and operator of Montana Records Management, LLP was quoted by the KXLH news station as saying, “The Florence Crittenton Home is near and dear to my heart as I have been a Board of Director member for 10 years and have seen the value this organization adds to the Helena Community. Nowhere is identity security more important than at the FCH, where young women come to flee abuse and homelessness and protect themselves while they are pregnant and nursing their babies.”

Montana Records Management, LLP offers on-site shredding service, secure document storage and document imaging services to the state of Montana. They are also very proactive in the support of local charities. The First Annual Shred Day was considered highly successful and plans for the 2012 Shred Day will commence in the near future.
